ASI 2011 will begin Thursday night at Airport High School and will wrap up with the finals at 2 pm on Sunday. Below are the flights and brackets. We will update this thread throughout the weekend. Results and schedules can also be found at www.southcarolinaunitedfc.com go to high school tournaments and ASI.

I was at ASI last night and was expected a better field than what they got at Airpot. It wasn't very nice.

What is a "flight" in soccer? Is that a play on words since Airport's mascot is an Eagle?

We did have some issues with the sprinkler system last night on Field 2 which were unfortunate but unpreventable. Those have since been fixed and we expect the field to be in much better shape tonight. That field will also be topdressed in June in preparation for ASI 2012. Field 1 for this time of year is in very good shape!

Our field was top-dressed this week so I am using it as a built in excuse if we don't play well this weekend!

I thought the Tournament was well run and organized so far. Lots of AHS staff on hand to help out when needed.

GREAT to see USC Head Coach Mark Berson out at the games last night.
