I'm sick of the Pinewood Prep bashing on this board. We have distributed good sportsmanship throughout our dynasty run that includes seven state titles.

We have played the best competition this state has to offer in a bunch of different tournaments and have never had this happen before. Is it unfortunate? Yes. Should we have honored our commitment? Yes? Are we being penalized fairly? I don't know because I think the forfeits are a bit much since they are asking us to honor the entry fee and that we have to buy t-shirts.

I remember a couple of years ago that Hammond's coach had a total melt down in a playoff game that we won and I thought that was a poor display of sportsmanship. Have you seen Cardinal Newman's coach behave? Geesh!

Anyway, we are taking our medicine but I guarantee you that we will be ready to play next month come playoffs.

within the first sentence you considered yourself a dynasty and had time to mention the number of state titles you won...your post screams elitist...Say what you want about CN's coach and sportsmanship but Eudy is class act and his team this year looks like it is about to end your "dynasty".

Regardless of what you say rhino, Pinewood shamed themselves this time. Tournaments don't appear out of thin air and this has been on the calendar since the last one wrapped up in 2010. To say on Saturday that you can't make it on Monday is just sad. How much foresight do you lack exactly? Because I'm not sure you should be educating anyone if you can't even read a calendar. The fact that you even posted this just reiterates the thoughts about PP on this board. Congrats, you now made your program look even more ridiculous than it already does. Now pay your tournament dues, accept your forfeits, and shut^&play...or forfeit. I don't care. Just shut up.

guys....i have only heard rumors about what happened here, but i have heard it was a discipline issue and that this thing could be much larger than just the tournament. Bash all you want. Blog boards allow for that. BUT, i think the coach did what he had to do based on the rumor of what i heard.

I know Pinewood will not just hand over the state title when the time comes.

All I can say is best of luck dethroning them.
