HSSR has generally posted a very succinct list of all-state players, usually around 20 total for all SCHSL classifications. The jump to 40 girls on the SCHSL HSSR All-State team made a huge difference in the caliber of players that were selected. Definitely some of the top girls in the state got selected, but some questionable selections as well...

Stopped looking at the HSSR lists a long time ago. They don't even cover the sport during the year, just contact coaches whose schools subscribe to their newspaper. Poor publication, but I guess a kudos is in order for those recognized.
