FT - Bishop England 2:0 Fort Mill

Come on down to The Cage for the championship ... #1 seed Wando (35 points) take on #2 seed Irmo (27 points). Match time is 5:00 PM. The 2012 Palmetto Cup will have a first-time champion this year -- Wando have been runners-up, and this is Irmo's first year in the event.

I predict that Wando will throttle them again like they did in State Champ last year and this will be the last time they play in this tournament-can't let that winning % and overblown ranking suffer by playing quality teams during the year.

I just have to ask... Why such animosity toward Irmo? Everyone wanted them in this tourney and they joined. They have provided good games thus far (best of tourney last night with CN) - are we not able to just hope for another great game this evening from two great, well deserving teams? All the best tonight boys...

@ Soccer Troll

Did you not read further down the thread and see that I corrected myself. I actually manned up, admitted I was wrong, and changed my post, something that most of the posters on here will not do. I just questioned the scheduling. Your shot at me just shows how childish a troll can be. Go back to whatever bridge you crawled out from.

Oh…you corrected yourself. I’m sorry. I thought that was sarcasm.
Being sort of a soccer purest, I take offense when someone with no idea what it takes to put on a great tournament, not once, but twice attacks a great soccer institution like the Palmetto Cup. You even went as far as to insinuate that the schedule was somehow fixed to give one team an advantage. Admitting your wrong isn’t good enough. You should apologize.
I’m sure the Heise boys would love your constructive criticism, but to end post with statements like “WOW” and “What a joke” show a lack of maturity and will most likely just fall on deaf ears.
BTW, once you admit you’re wrong, you probable should not continue with your little diatribe. It makes you look, well, sort of childish.

And as always remember “don’t feed the troll”

I surely hope Irmo brings it! I want to see a midland team win this, would like to see our state continue to represent at the top spot in the national polls. That being and not trying to make any excuse, Irmo left a lot on the field last night, then to turn around and play again early, they will need to be spot on tonight. While having seen the previous couple of Wando games and watching them make a complete line change at the 20 minute mark of both matches, they should be well rested and have the advantage there. But either way, this may not be the last time they see each other, and different circumstance could bring different results.

SoccerAnswer...people just like to hate Irmo....it has been going on for years, the team just uses it as motivation, especially when people write it on here. It works to their advantage.
