What a GREAT GAME! The first Goal was sick, I mean it has to be one of the best 1 v 1 goals I have seen. If you missed it hope someone posts it for all to see.

It was a great game to be at. Packed house! Well worth the drive.
I thought both teams played well.
#7 (Andy Craven) for CofC was very explosive.
Alex Long (USC) had an amazing save!
A lot of Freshmen getting some pitch time for USC.

craven was making martinez and cates look like freshman out there. He ran all over carolina's back line

Craven is a difference-maker. Difference-makers win matches. And yes, USC has some deficiencies in the center back positions.

The College of Charleston has moved up in the national rankings for both TopDrawerSoccer.com (#38) and CollegeSoccerNews.com (#31).

Andy Craven was also named as one of the Top 11 performers in the nation this weekend by TopDrawerSoccer, with his two goal performance in last night's 3-2 victory over South Carolina. Well done Andy!

Long may have made an amazing save (can't say I remember it) but he also made some questionable decisions coming out and with a little luck Charleston could have had another 2-3 "soft" goals. Charleston had some tremendous speed up top and not sure USC was ready for it.
