OP Chantman Goal C Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 488	Just got back from Northern Virginia watching the SCU/MP 98 Elite play in this tournament. Beautiful complex at Long Park in Haymarket, VA. The weather was great. Lost 0-1 to Cleveland FC (OH) and 0-1 to VSA Heat (VA). Played the #1 U13 team in the nation (GotSoccer Rankings) YMS Xplosion (PA) and tied them 1-1. Very exciting match. Great experience for the ladies.

I remember when the DC Sniper (not the nickname of a forward for the local MLS franchise) shut that whole tournament down. The weather has played havoc with it in the past as well. Kids play sports because they find it fun. Eliminate the fun and soon you eliminate the kid.
