Parents on the sideline yelling "kick it, kick it hard!"
Kicking the ball up the field over everyone's heads hoping your team can run just that fraction of a second faster than the other team and score. What happened to possess the ball and attack with skill?
Parents who don't know anything about the game, but have been "watching" their kids play for years.

Amen! This is bad at the game... but when they go home and tell the kids to do it, wink wink, when the coach is not around, is WORSE.

Quote:
Is a player considered to be in an offside position if they are behind the goal line, two yards deep behind the goalkeeper in the opponent's goal, when a corner kick is taken? If the player comes back out and heads in the corner kick, is he to be judged offside?
If a player is two yards into his opponent's goal, behind the goalkeeper, before the corner kick is taken, should he be cautioned for leaving the field of play without the referee's permission?
1. No offense There is no offside offense if a player receives the ball directly from:
a goal kick a throw-in a corner kick
2. It is not an offence in itself for a player who is in an offside position to step off the field of play to show the referee that he is not involved in active play. However, if the referee considers that he has left the field of play for tactical reasons and has gained an unfair advantage by re-entering the field of play, the player must be cautioned for unsporting behavior. The player needs to ask for the referee’s permission to re-enter the field of play.

Coaches, players, & parents who confuse 'one-touch' soccer with 'kick-ball' in which players one-touch the ball a random distance, in a random direction, and to a random player and then receive praise from their coach/parents because they 'one-touched' the ball.
