Any predictions on who is through to state? Riverside has one win on Hanna already and they appear to be at a strong point.

Riverside had no problems in their first meeting.

Tonight the Warriors had their hands full. Devita AND the Rams came to play. First goal was a dubious foul at the arc, Ref stepped off a bit more than 10 for the wall-past the spot. If they do not score there with a few minutes remaining, the second probably does not happen. But maybe a chance would come later, who knows.

Hanna had little problem with Irmo, which scored on two of its three shots vs Mauldin, who struck the woodwork four times. Irmo did suffer a knee injury at the back, not sure if she was a mainstay.

I think Hanna will give 'em a go, but Riverside has been here before, a lot. If both teams bring their A game, it should be entertaining.

What Irmo defender got hurt and how is she doing?

To clarify, the injury occurred at Mauldin. She planted the left leg and it gave. Based on her reaction, the trainer's, and the way she was carried off, it did not look good.

We have not heard an update, but hope it was not serious, and she bounces back quickly.

I was at the riverside game and I didn't see too much trouble. First half Devita didn't give them too much trouble. Anyone notice what happen second half. Not to forget the several oppurntoes the Warriors had. I had no doubt they would win that one. But last time they played TL Hanna, Hanna didnt have their top player from what I've heard. my question there is will she change it drastically to pull Hanna through?

Irmo player that went down in the first half against Mauldin was Callahan Taylor, key player for us. She will be having an MRI done tomorrow. Prayers are good. Also suffered a concussion to Meg Tucker first half against Hanna, hopefully she'll be good to tryout for club here in a couple of weeks.

Wish we could have had a days rest between Mauldin and TL Hanna but schsl said it wouldnt have been allowed. We came out sluggish and gave Hanna too many opportunities in the first half with long throws and corners. Not saying the outcome would have been different, but was easy to see we were a little bit sluggish.

As for Mauldin game, they did strike the woodwork a couple of times, but we had few more shots than 3. Mauldin completely dominated the first half and we controlled the play in the second half until the last 4 minutes when we had pulled back a forward to play in the back when we gave up a lot of shots from about 25 yards out.

In any case, good luck to TL Hanna and Riverside. I know that will be a great game.

Yeah. Shame. I thought Riverside had them. I do have a question who did Archenhold have on Devita the first two games and the first half of theur last game? I know Carly was on Devita for the second half and also seemed to be on Chelesa tonight but I'm not sure that her and first girl who was on Devita did the same job. Anyone know who she was?
