Nation Ford has been a top 8 AAA team the past two years. They can't get an invite?

Unless we were the head coach it's hard to know who gets an invite, asks to attend, begs to attend, or is simply lumped into the field based on proximity.

Wren has their own tourney. Do they want to attend the VC anymore? Who knows. Dorman was way down this year. Nation Ford should be in the VC.

On the other hand, Chapin lost to South Aiken 9-0. Are they a top team? It would be hard to convince anyone that they are, but the school is in close proximity to Cola. Ridge View and White Knoll fall into the same category with neither being top teams but both being located in Cola.

I doubt there is a formal process that Steve Lea goes through to set the field for the VC each year. It remains the top girls soccer tourney in the state and there will always be teams that are "snubbed", but it's hard to cry foul without knowing the real reason why some (possibly) qualified teams do not end up playing in the VC.
