Kentucky has men's soccer and is also a member of C-USA. Tennessee and Vanderbilt used to field men's squads, but the Title IX restrictions caused them to do away with the programs.
no kidding! i did not know that. i know a few womens sec schools have them. do they play sec? wow, its hard to beleive the football rich sec can't afford mens teams.
Both Tennessee and Vanderbilt have the resources to field a men's soccer team (as do the other SEC schools). Both schools eliminated soccer because it wasn't a priority for either of them.
given the proximity to all the great weather year around clubs of florida/sc/nc/ga/bama/tenn etc etc, that is a real shame that the sec bailed on mens soccer.
