Looks like we have got the tables turned this year, JL Mann girls against Wando girls... Who will be the victorious team in your opinions?..

Probably need to ask Blythewood, Hilton Head, Hillcrest and West Ashley. They are the common opponents who may have insight on the two teams

Talk about "Being There Before".......this will be Wando Girls' 7th straight State Championship Appearance.....
Winning in 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011.....Runner Up 2009, 2012.

And runner up again in 2013

BW parent - Mann has better team. Wando has more individual talent. However, my view of Wando comes from Viking Cup. Things could have changed in last 3 months. If I was so inclined my money would be on Mann.

That is amazing, but I think you could combine the top two teams in any other 4A region and still be below/close to Wando's enrollment and they would be dominating as well! Or be as creatinve as you want, combine the top 4A and 3A teams in most region and you are below Wando numbers and still likely to dominate everyone. Face it 3500-4000 students is just a huge advantage, even more so when they are from a soccer rich area!

Oh yeah gonna say Mann based on nothing really, but Mann plays very well as a team.

Who are some of the individuals on wando? If they are more individually strong talent wise.

Try not to be offended if you are a Mann fan. Mann has an awesome team and some very talented girls. But you asked a question and I will answer off the top of my head. Torlay (sp?) and McCool in the midfield, and two others I cannot remember names. One tall forward and a strong defender. These two are very similar talent-wise to #7 and 20 for Mann....if not better. The other two Mann does not match up with. However Mann has #16 who has a skillset that Wando does not have. It will be a beautiful game on Friday. Too bad it is not at Stone.
