This is Chase Rodgers from Stetson University here writing to seek your help in passing on information to the players and families in your club. We are trying to check out some of the players in the state that are not in the academy programs and sometimes get overlooked so are hoping you wouldn’t mind passing this on to the coaches, parents and players in your club who are HS age and would really appreciate the help that you could offer. We really utilize our ID and Residential camps as recruiting tools because we don’t have the massive recruiting budgets that some of these other D1 schools have so rely heavily on the coaches in youth soccer in the Florida area to help us promote the school and camps to the potential talent so really appreciate any and all help you can offer. Stetson University is a D1 school located in sunny Deland, FL which is about 20 minutes south of Daytona (Beach) or 40 minutes north of Orlando (Metropolitan). We play in the Atlantic Sun Conference, which has placed at least two teams each year over the past three years into the NCAA tournament so is recognized as a strong mid major. We recently had a 7 million dollar athletic facility with two amazing grass fields for training and games built. Stetson is a private college with a student body of just over 2,700 making classes much smaller and a lot more intimate. The academic standard is among the highest in the country with one of the top Business and Law schools receiving accolades in those areas every year. We use our residential and ID camps as a way to identify and sign future talent and have recently signed five players in our last two camps alone. That being said, a great opportunity that you have is to attend our residential camp from June 23rd-26th here, which will allow you to get an idea of what campus life is like by staying in the dorms, eating in the cafeteria, and training and playing on the facilities. It also will give you an opportunity to interact with the entire coaching staff and get to know us as well as train and play with and against current and former Stetson players as well as some of the future athletes.
