" Wade Hampton is now second best team in the upstate."
That is a little bit of a jump. 10-1 is great, but...
They lost to Dorman who is upstate and same conference. And that was a home game.
Most of their 4a victories have been against sub .500 teams. Riverside being the sole exception.
Their only quality victories, besides Riverside, were a pair of 1-0 wins against 3a schools. And even the best 3a schools are .500 against top 4a schools.
Now if you define 'upstate' as Spartanburg and Greenville only you might have a point, but I think Dorman would disagree.
And if you define 'upstate' as the teams that play for the upstate championship then there are a few other schools that might disagree.
I would say they are better than #10 in the state, maybe top 5, but I wouldn't move them above any of the top 3 teams at this point.
