Lower State Round 2 Predictions:

Lexington: The season for the JI freshman scoring machine end tonight. I don't think JI has enough to win AT Lexington.

Summerville: The field at Summerville is long and narrow, giving the Green Wave an advantage.

Wando: Losing their best central midfielder Monday night to a leg injury will hurt as they progress. They should have enough to handle S. Aiken.

River Bluff: Fort D may have one of the best players in the state, but I don't think she will get enough help to defeat River Bluff.

Games are just about ready to start. Good luck to all.

I think the teams that will advance are Dutch Fork, Dorman, Mann and Riverside. The Riverside v Blythewood game should be close, but I am giving it to Riverside because they are coming off a win against a region winner.

I think those picks are right on the money! I was really surprised about Fort Mill, but Riverside has a good group.
