If your school came to you and said they were going to buy your entire team cleats, but they had to be not only the same brand but the same color shoe what would your thoughts be? What do you think your players response would be?

Players would first ask what brand and color, in that order.

If the first answer was not Nike, then their answer would be no.

It's done with football and basketball

My kids would think about what brand and then what color, but then would be really excited to be getting a pair of cleats at little to no cost.

BUT if they were then given a low grade, cheap, "we found this to make you not bug us" cleat then my guys along with myself would be quite P'd. It's like you wasted money that could've been put towards something else.

I just asked three players and all three said no thanks. Each of the three wear different brands and have a preference of either kangaroo leather or the new knit technologies. Some like the sock like feel while two others don't.

Strangely enough - none of them prefer my old Copa Mundial boots.

I would say how about you pay for our bus driver first. Or the entire cost of new goals, because the old ones don't meet the required specifications.

That's no way to talk about your bus driver.

The coach gets his CDL so the the parents don't have to pay for a bus driver for each game. School won't pay a dime for a driver. One of the dumbest things I have seen. And, why should this year's team/parents have to pay for goals that will be there for years to come?
