SCHSL Class AAA Region 3 girls Varsity have two teams, Woodruff and Broome, tied for the top spot. Each have the same region record of 5-1 and a win .833 PCT, Woodruff has 24 GF and 2 GA, Broome has 25 GF and 3 GA. They each have to play 2 more region games that both are expected to win. To decide the #1 spot Does SCHSL look at non region wins/loses to decide? Do they look at goal differential in region or out? If both teams finish at 7-1, do they play a playoff game before the playoffs to decide who is the Region champ? If any one knows please enlighten us. I know this is the boys site but a lot more people look at this than the girls.

Each region has its own set of rules to decide region champions. Contact you school's AD or coach for specifics.

He is correct, each region decides it's own tie-breakers. I moved to a new region last year and one of the tie-breakers for region play, is non-region record. Admittedly it is the third tie breaker.

In Region III-AAA, if the teams split their head to head matches, they will play off the tie at a neutral site.

Most likely on the 28th or that weekend. If i'm not mistaken, final region standings have to be turned into the SCHSL by the 28th

Region record sheets are due to the HSL Friday, so by Saturday it should be posted on the SCHSL.

Playoff Brackets are usually posted by Saturday/Mid-Day. Most seeds/spots are easily entered. Only reason for a possible delay is a play-off game got played late or info got delayed something of that order.

Also as stated before, Each region decides their tiebreaker at the beginning of the season and has to be agreed upon by everyone (AD's).
