Does anyone know how the exclusive use of Field 1 at Patriots Point by the Charleston Battery will affect the available field space for the Fall? I know last year other clubs leased space from the Rec Dept and the Town but with the elimination of an entire field for games and training, it pushes the MPRD teams that used it to move to the back fields (2,3,4 or 5) pushing other teams/clubs out of the mix. Just wondering if any clubs had leases in place already for the fall of if they were pending.

As far as we are aware JenFal, no agreements are in place (beyond the spring agreements).

Ours are due to expire on May 10th (but in covid reality ended in March)

We have no plans or need to rent ahead of the Fall, so would expect a dialog on this with MPRD (and other parties) later in the summer. For sure space will be tight for all.
