Hammond 3-1 Wilson Hall
if anything these scores should be completely reversed, don't get me wrong Hammond played a great game but two of the goals were crap and they didn't have to work at all for them. 1st goal defender waits for the ball to roll out but sits there when a hammond player goes around him and crosses to middle that deflected of another hammond player into the net. 2nd goal was legit couldn't argue with that one. 3rd goal corner kick comes in hits the back of a Hammond player and into the air, keeper comes out to grab it and stumbles over one of the defenders and the ball hits off the keeper into the goal.
now the reason Wilson Hall should have had more goals. breakaway 1st half draws out the keeper and chips it over him klips the top of the crossbar and goes out should have been a goal. another shot from a medfielder who dribbled past three players goes to the side and hits the post and the forward did not get the ball into the net after the defelction. another run from the midfielder turns into a break away and is slashed from behind by a hammond player, gets a yellow should have been straight red, and then another breakaway and Wilson Hall finally puts one into the back of the net with 20 minutes to go. but Wilson Hall could not put the ball into the net on a few more chances
Hammond also had some chances though and the game was evenly matched despite the score lookin forward to the next game at Hammond. good game!
