I'm pretty sure that Skylar Reardon plans to play for the gamecocks in the fall...or is he a junior? (Answering the earlier question of who is the next gamecock recruit gonna be). Also, I've heard rumor about some statitician from Ben Lippen considering them. But the ladder is only rumor.

sorry shearer, didn't read your post, I guess he is a junior. But the latest news on him is that he plans to wear the gamecocks colors at stone stadium in 2006.

How do you know. Kevin, or Shearer can you guys tell me a little about the USC commitments. Im hearing different things about each of them. I've seen Jamal, play but not Prince or Evans. You dont hear to much about them at all. Any insight would be appreciated and if youve seen Jamal, that would be appreciated. Arent you a little concerned that USC is getting to top heavy with SC kids. Clemson, is winning without them.

I'm not sure i follow how joking about not even being a player, but a statitician that might go to USC makes benp look better. I'm pretty sure he was joking (laughing at himself) rather than being prideful and wanting others to think more of him. But that's just what I read into it...

David Newton from Wando will play for the Tigers next year.

I thought Spencer (I think that's his name, transferred from Beaufort Academy a couple of years ago) from Irmo was signing from USC. Am I wrong on that?

Speaking of Wando, what ever happened to Cody Natale? Did he even play this year?

Dain, I am talking about the guys being recruited right now. Class of 2006. No sign of Trevor and Doug Allison for that matter.

Natale has some academic problem that kept him from playing. Ended up in Charleston adult league. Shame, a fantastic talent

I'm glad that the coaches have decided to recruit from in-state as well. We have plenty of quality players here and I am sure they will be good for the program. As for someone saying that they are too top-heavy because they are recruiting in-state players I totally disagree! Why let some other school get great talent from your very own state when you could have just as easily recruited them?!? Also, why go out of state to recruit when you've got what you need here in good ole' South Carolina?!?
