from my other thread Irmostriker06...

IrmoS06...

I hate to say it son but you are beginning to sound like Fenomeno.

The mark of a champion is to be able to accept defeats and learn to overcome the obstacles and NOT talk about them AND to respect your opponent(s)wether you spank them or not.

Everyone has a bad day now and then.... maybe you did, maybe you didn't, the point is take your lumps, reboot and learn from the mistakes THEN show everyone on the field.

Anyone can talk.... not everyone can play.

Good luck in your season.

and by the way I believe I said sometime before that Irmo was going to be in the mix of things at the end as usual

You know...I didn't like the fact that Duke dropped to #2 after losing to Georgetown (a very good unranked team) by 2, when Connecticut had already lost to marquette (a pretty good unranked team) by like 20. However, time will tell where teams deserve to be. Irmo may in fact end up #1 like usual, but they will have to earn it back. I think its pretty wierd that Irmo is ranked above undefeated lexington who beat pretty good South Aiken and Ridge View. I was surprised at that one myself. Looks like people believe Irmo is better than they played this weekend.

ben, let's play "Six Degrees of Separation":

Savannah State, currently 2-25 and possibly the worst team in D1 basketball defeated....

Longwood who defeated Liberty who upset Winthrop who smacked Marquette who upended UConn.

Good grief. These rankings are an average of the members of this board thus very subjective. If you don't like where your school is submit your own top 25. Honestly though this is only (mostly) unobjective high school team-members opinions.

I do appreciate them though especially as they inlcude the SCISA teams.

These are not even the true rankings....only a mere average of those compiled from the members who took the time to send their own top 25

How often are the coach's rankings for 4A, 3A, etc. that are posted on SCSoccer.com updated?

bruin, CornerFlag is correct. The SCHSSCA Polls will be compiled and published on the Scoreboard each Sunday beginning February 26 and will continue through May 14.
