Then they completely fell off, lost a whole bunch of games, and were ousted of the playoffs by Wando in the first round. Is the same thing happening to them this year or was this just a fluke??
You need to back off Spring Valley.
They are an excellent team and have all the tools to win lower state. Just because Mauldin doesn't get any hype or talk on this board doesn't mean that they are not any good.
Given that Spring Valley has a tough schedule they will take some lumps this year but I expect them to do well in their tough region.
With regard to the Lakewood-Sumter game. The poster mentions the Second 10 minute overtime period. If that is accurate, it is unfortunate as the overtime periods are supposed to be 2 regulation 5 minute overtimes!!
wando completely manhandled colleton.....whoever said they would have trouble (beginnersluck) is 100% false. wando played 2 touch the entire second half and still dominated the entire half. and 4 goals were called back for god knows what. colleton may not have even connected more than 2 passes in a row and only had one shot...if you can even call it that

SCS mostly dominated the whining feild in the second half. Woodruff's 12 obviously frustrated their defense and made them look like a bunch of bench warmers, unfortunately he had little help and cooperation up top to finish his plays. Woodruff's overall midfield was weeker in the second half facing the weekest SCS midfield I've ever seen. The few newbies to Woodruff that saw playing time showed more heart than the SCS freshmen and they weren't ready for the aggression that Woodruff brought. This game was almost an upset tie with the little Woodruff team doing better against a SCS team than ever, but a blatantly ignored offsides call put SCS ahead and Woodruff couldn't put together a strong enough attack up top to get it back. This was a compltetly different Woodruff team than we've seen all year. You can't really base a team off one game, but if Woodruff continues the season like they played last night we may see an upset in the region....
Northwestern had control of the game from begining to end having most of the possession and with eastside basically kicking the ball up top to #20 and letting him try to make somethin happen. NW scored in 10th minute and then little after that a freekick was scored through the goalies legs. Eastide then scored their goal to make it 2-1 NW then scored literally seconds after to put the dagger in eastside.
