Irmo plays Spring Valley tomorrow (tue) at Home.. Irmo played well against a solid DF and took DF to sudden death PK's and lost.. DF looked evenly matched with SV and DF took SV to PK's and lost in a close one..
So will this one come down to PK's? Will irmo finally establish some region ground and win? Or is SV too strong?
i personally thing irmo needs a solid man in the defense. if im not mistaken c.monroe played sweeper for his club team a few years back and handled it very well. i think it might be helpful if monroe tried out sweeper again. they desperately need a vocal and solid D. keep acree and prince at the top. with leo mckusky and jugal in the center mid..
well if irmo does win, it will be a long way from a region win like you hinted at. that would put sv, df, and irmo with one region loss (as of now), and it seems like these three teams are the only ones that will beat each other in the region.
I think Irmo's "trio" is overrated. It takes a team to win games, not three people. I think Irmo will play SV hard, but in the end SV's team prevails over Irmo's trio. SV 2 Irmo 1
Their "trio" is just that a trio. The jugal(sp) and Musklafy(sp)kids aren't ready to make an impact. Not like the freshamn of past from Irmo i.e Prince, Owens, Monroes..etc all those players made a difference all these freshman have done is lost.
As much as it pains me to say it ....Prince Monroe and Acree could beat any other three in the state(3v3)!!! No question. BUT at the end of the day it is 11 v 11 so cry on Irmo!~~
I will have to say Irmo by one goal (1-0 or 2-1). I am still not convinced on the GKs for Spring Valley and Irmo is at a point were they need to reverse things.

Maybe, but are you that convinced of the Irmo keeper?
