They just really impressed me. There isn't quality passing and ball movement..like there is in the upperstate 3A schools. And these guys had DF's heads on a swivel. You never knew what was coming next either.. they'd slide a ball deep into the 18 taking it to the inline.. or cross on just outside.. or rip one from 20yards out.
wando vs. spring valley game was a horrible game. how could anyone think that that was a good game. it was ugly the whole way through. it'll be a better game tomorrow night.
wa vs. summerville first round playoff match was pretty tight....wa leads wire to wire then summerville puts 2 in with less than 2 minutes to play....very exciting finish with great defense throughout...
Dreher vs. Lexington was a crazy finish with the PK's. Both Drehre-BC matchups were close especially the 2nd one. That makes the lower state championship tommorow quite interesting considering Dreher and BC are somewhare rivals especially in soccer. I look foward to one of the best games of the spring tommorow night at memorial (Dreher).
our game against Batesburg-leesville was a pretty good game. very high tempo, back-and-forth game when we tied it up late in regulation. BL scored with a couple minutes in OT. i know its AA, but im sure it would have been a great game to watch
i would have to say the second meeting between northwestern and fort mill. i think that i may have chewed through my fingers during that one. i think that the nw/lex game was close to that. both very exciting and intense.
the nmb/socastee match in early april was a gut-wrenching performance by both teams (nmb won 2-1 [3-2 in pks]). it should be ranked near the riverside/greenville match for best games.
