Is it true that Lincoln has only had a team for four seasons? If so, that is incredible. Not only did they make it to the championship, but they almost beat a very, very good Christ Church team. Well done coach.
i have a question. does riverside play on a soccer specific field? the size of the field saturday basically took away our height advantage as they just beat us to balls. and on our setpieces the first defender was able to clear almost everyone, another result of the larger field. it would be nice if each team was given a practice on the field a day or two before the game...even though thatd be pretty hard to work out. as far as coach rowell i think his record speaks for itself and it would have been very nice to send him out on top.
Riverside plays on a much smaller field than Memorial, so that should have been an advantage for Dreher. Riverside spread the field out very well and then created their attack. They are just a more aggressive, quicker team.
