Regarding Dorman Game: I wasn't able to attend but got the game report from my wife. Sounded like Dorman dominated most of the game. Aiken did have a goal called back (indirect kick went into the goal without being touched). Dorman also missed a pk. Dorman had lots of near misses.

JI 1 @ Irmo 4

In front of an enthusiastic home crowd Irmo put on a display of ball control, speed up top and effective defense to eliminate the Lady Trojans 4-1 and move into the third round of playoffs. With the exception of Kelly Gosnell's beautiful direct kick goal (her 100th) in the second half, James Island's offense sputtered for the most part while Irmo's forwards proved too fast and too accurate for the Lady Trojans' defense. All 4 of Irmo's goals were high quality strikes and their players showed great skill and poise in controlling the pace and tone of the game. Congratulations to Irmo in a well deserved victory and best of luck as you move into the next round. Thanks to the James Island Lady Trojans for giving us a great season. We will miss Gosnell next year, but she is the only graduating senior in a team dominated by current 10th graders. We're looking forward to next year already.

Hilton Head 5
Richland NE 0

RNE was outmanned from the start due to a lot of injuries. HH played a very sloppy first half, managing a 2-0 lead with their second goal just befor half-time. They ploayed a bit better in the second half, but way below their capability. They just don't seem sharp with their first touches, or their passing game in general. Still, they played good enough to win. RNE played hard and well at times.
