Bayern Munich v Arsenal

With Munich's star, Michael Ballack out, expect Arsenal to win by multiple goals.

Liverpool v Bayer Leverkusen

Steven Gerrard always shines in Champions League matches, expect the same as Liverpool triumphs.

PSV Eindhoven v Monaco

PSV Eindhoven won't let Monaco make the same run as last year. Monaco's hopes come to a halt in these two legs. PSV takes the first.

Real Madrid v Juventus

Certainly the match of the week, this will be an all out battle at the Bernabeu. Normally my vote is with Juventus, but just because Real Madrid has home-field advantage, I think the teams will draw.

Barcelona v Chelsea

Camp Nou lights up as Barcelona will prove their worthiness and surprise the EPL leaders.

FC Porto v Inter Milan

Like the Real-Juve match, normally I'd pick Inter, but it is at Porto, so a draw seems likely.

Man United v AC Milan

A lack of injured Andriy Shevchenko and the greatest home-field advantage of Old Trafford gives Manchester United the edge in this match and wins the first leg.

Werder Bremen v Lyon

The Germans aren't as impressive as they were last year. Home-field advantage means nothing in this match as the French League leaders dominate and win.

After watching Wed. CL game with AC and Man U., I'm not sure what to think! Another keeper blunder for Man U. and great play by AC. I am not so sure they will take it all or are the best in Europe.

Liverpool had a great showing! I hope they move on to the next round.

And the last comment- Chelsea, what a strong start and then a weak end! What a loss! Barca is good...

Some interesting names in the final 8. PSV, Lyon and Liverpool are all probably a bit of a surprise. I think I have to pull for underdogs PSV with American "Run DMB" (Beasley) and Liverpool for, well, I don't know, just because.

I read an interesting article about how Arsenal attacks in the premier league with a more centralized distribution and run of play. It works against the 4-4-2 in Premier, but most teams use the 4-5-1 (newly designed 4-2-3-1) in the UEFA thus thwarting their scheme.

PSV is Dutch, correct? I'll take them or Milan. Chenko's back as well, yes?
