Good luck to all teams that are participating in the Carowinds tournament in Charlotte this weekend. If you "done good", post your results here.

I got to see Bridge FA Girls U-13's play twice this weekend. Very good team. Courtney Smith (#20) was very dangerous and scored and assisted on many goals. The keeper, Emily (Dawson?) was also very good and really did a nice job of commanding the goal area and directing her defense.
I also saw the Bridge FA U-15 Boys in a hard fought match against Discoveries on Saturday evening. DSC had to win by at least 2-0 in order to advance, in a match that was shortened by tournament officials, and they got the second goal late in the game to pull it out.
Congrats as well to the Tega Cay U-14 Girls classic team that won the U-14G Bronze division. Nearly half of this team is U-13 and they have a lot of new players. They had a couple of thrilling victories on their way to the title.

Congrats to DSC Green for winning the U-15 Boys Silver division. Needed to beat two teams from the hosting club, as well as a pretty good Bridge FA squad.

What a great showing by these South Carolina teams. I'm really heartened by the Bridge results; it seems as if in their second year the girls side is now really coming on strong!
Were there any CESA, CUFC, Lexington, or other South Carolina teams at this tournament; if so, does anyone know how they did?

The Columbia United FC Challenge teams competed at the Carowinds tournament. The U13 and U18 girls claimed finalist honors.
The list of Champions and Finalists is confusing with the CUFC teams. The CUFC Dynamo is actually the Columbia United FC U13 Challenge team. The Columbia United FC U18 Challenge is listed as Columbia United FC. I believe all of the other teams listed as CUFC are Charlotte United FC.
