ehs1: That is a great point that I knew nothing about. Does anyone have any additional information on this result and if it means much?

I saw Lex. play the CUFC B team. Lex. won 6-0 with at least 15 other clear shots on goal. If Lex. learns to finish well, I believe they can go all the way.

What time does Lex. 89 and CUFC Elite play? I'm picking Lexington by a goal.

lex takes it 3-2 in a high intensity game with many fouls

one can be beaten, two can defend themselves, but a a strand of three is not easily defeated

Hey what did I tell you?? Lexington 3, CUFC 2.
Eventhough the score was looks close, Lex. pretty much controlled the game. The first half, Lex. dominated. The second half was back and forth. CUFC had one good shot on goal in the 2nd half that hit the cross bar (Flynn I think). OTher than that, Lexingon did a great job on defense and pretty much shut down Flynn and Parker.
I'm telling you - Lex's defense is for real, expecially Howard and Lynch.

Lex's first goal was when Graham Howard hit a perfect pass at midfield to back post - Callison headed it in. That was sic! Then CUFC scored in front of the net - I don't remember who it was. Toward the end of the second half, Danny Cates hit a penalty kick from about 25 yrds out. Somehow it managed to get though everyone and into the back of the net. (Lex. 2-1 at half). Then Parker hit a great shot off at the right 18 and hit side net. 2-2. About half way through the second half Chilensky (how do you spell that kids name?) hit the cross bar- the ball bounced straight down and Jugal hit it in. 3-2 Lex. Lex's defense closed them down the rest of the game.

Lexingtons midflied played well too - especially in the first half.

Wow, so happy I made it to the game today! It was a great game with both teams showing so much heart. I was impressed with the Lexington attack and #9 scored a great header goal. Lexington also had an early chance to take the lead on a PK but the CUFC keeper, who I thought played very good, made a terrific save. Lexington scored their second off of a deflection on a free kick. CUFC scored 2 very nice goals as well. Great game that could have gone either way and I hope I get to see the next meeting between these two teams!!

Scout22: I wouldnt say Lexington thouroughly dominated the game. I think that they dominated the first half and then CUFC toke most of the play in the second. Lexington's third goal was off of a mistake by the 2nd goalkeeper after he let it go right through his hands. Jugal then came through and knocked it in off the crossbar. Once again I think that the game could have gone either way.
