well, i've owned more pairs than can be counted, and by far the most durable and complete boot i've owned are the puma cellerator 4Ks. hands down. Had em for a year and a half of heavy play, only recently did they begin to tear slightly on the left toe. I have vowed myself to puma since.

I'm with aleksandrus on this one. I had some PUMA cleats (not quite sure of their exact name) and they lasted me about 2 years. PUMA seems to have a really good product so if you are looking for the best brand name, i would go with PUMA.

I wish i would have had that sort of luck with pumas, that lasted me a club season and i just used them for games. I had puma kings and the whole bottom of the cleat is falling off. The best cleats i have had are the adidas copas.

nice idea, never thought of that, just take the disposable cleat point of view and buy ten pairs of wal-mart cleats. you'd be the man with a different pair for every game...just a thought. But seriously, the cellerators are the way to go. They've dropped in price tons, cause they are an older model.

Whatever you buy, buy two pairs and give them a rest between use. Buy some wood shoe tree's or stuff them with paper if you have to. Letting boots dry out completely after even a 'dry' day will save you money in the long run. The glue lasts a lot longer and it won't catch you by surprise when they discontinue your favorite. I admit I'm cheap but it works.

I didn't do it, but if I had you never would have known.
