I was looking through CESA's CAP program and admiring the work they had gone through to line up a nice schedule, but was somewhat surprised that they hadn't lined up USC-Columbia or Clemson. And that it doesn't appear that USC men or Clemson men were playing any club teams this spring. If I recall both played several last spring. Any thoughts on this apparent change in scheduling strategy?

As I understand the CAP program for this year Div. 1 schools are not allowed to participate. I don't know if this restriction is from CAP or NCAA.

Beginning in August of '06, NCAA rules now prohibit DI programs from playing against high school aged players. Dumb rule, but there are a lot of those with the NCAA.

USC defeats Erskine 2-0 last night at the Graveyard...

Erskine played quite well battling against the speed/size advantage of the Gamecocks...
but they DESPERATELY need a goalkeeper.
