Is Wando really that good, or are they overated?

Wando is a strong team.they have a bunch of individual talent but has yet to perform well as a team. in their loss to B.E. they were on their heels the whole game. give them time by the end of the season they should be playing like champions.

I hope so, Wando's loss to BE is some what embarrassing considering the fact that BE played with 10 men nearly the entire game.

It will be fun to watch Wando in Palmetto Cup. They should win their group, especially since Norman North is young and inexperienced.

04...especially with 33 players in their roster (including 4 goalkeepers) I am sure the NN coach will have difficulty in putting a starting team together to match Wando.

The game was embarrassing for the Wando defense. A mental error with a soft pass cost Wando the game. BE played with a full team most of the game. Lost their player to yellow cards sometime in the second half.
Wando coach did finally replace the entire defense.
It's not a good excuse, but Wando played a tough game the night before and had several sick players on the field on Saturday.
BE did lose to Varsity girls, JV Girls and JV boys this past week. BE boys have a good team, but a rematch of the Varsity boys today would be a win for Wando! Wando varsity boys did beat them in the Rotary classic in February.

Let's put things in perspective, we're talking about a 2A team vs 4A. Wando has always had a strong soccer program and has a pool of talent to chose from. What amazes me is that BE, being a private Parochial school, can compete year after year with the biggest public schools.

How is the new coach doing at Wando? Adjusting nicely??? Strange start for the Warriors thus far.

You must have been watching a totally different match!

The BE player was red carded in about the 20th minute, with the score 0-0 for an F bomb directed to the Wando student section. He took offense to what they were calling him.

The first goal may have been a soft pass situation, but the 2nd goal was basically the defense not closing down on someone who was able to dribble around near the box and get a shot off.

Be proud, but at least be correct about your information.

I think Wando is a very good team and will continue to develop and most likely make it far into the playoffs. They have the talent and it all depends if they gel as a team.
