My original query had more to do with the potential matchup (which was great by the way) than what, if anything was 'wrong' at Spring Valley. Be that as it may, I will say that the value of playing sports in high school is to teach kids what is important in life, and that life doesn't give you many 'do-overs'. Sports is one place where you CAN earn redemption.
SV fielded a disciplined, hard playing squad that fought every minute of the game. If any of these kids had been on the 'outs' earlier you never would have known it. It was clean, fun to watch and a credit to both schools. Flynn was a different player than in Mt. Pleasant, effective in what he was doing during the game. Great stop on Lex golies part but not a refection on him. Hats of to both teams and I predict each wil go deep into the playoffs.
