What team has been the most disappointing or most shocking as far as results this season. For me it has to be Irmo, I was really expecting a return to the state championship but they just can't put it together. Any thoughts?

Byrnes and Clover have been better than advertised in the preseason.

2nd Byrnes. Win over Riverside was upset of the year.

I don't think people realize how many and how important the players Irmo lost from last year were. A humble coach like Mike isn't going to give excuses, but the truth is they lost some big timers!

Wren and Greenwood have made big strides this year, as has Spartanburg.

I think Airport has done surprisingly well. Good 4A wins over Ridgeview, Aiken, South Aiken, James Island, Clover; good 3A wins over Flora, BC, and a strong Chapin; and a close 1-0 loss to Eastside.

They seem to have taken their program up a notch since last year but it looks like they will have to prove themselves again against Chapin to win their region.
