There's going to be at least one tie in Region 8. What is the tiebreaker?

head to head, number of victories

1 head to head
2. points from region wins and loses.
3 overall record minus tournaments
4. overall record including tour.

#2 is hard to expiain unless you have coached when pts were used to determine seeding. The idea is you get 4 pts for a win and 3 for a loss, this is done for the 6 region teams only. If you and the team you are tied with have beat the same teams and lost to the same teams then it is on the step 3. Clear as mud right.

so, if Fort Dorchester beats Beaufort tonight, who will be in second place. They will both have the same region record 7-3, and the same overall record 13-5. How will they determine who gets second?

if Fort D wins, they win head to head, the first match was 2-2 at the end of reg. thus Fort would get second, good luck to both schools, should be a monster last game of the season with the region on the line

Beaufort - 1

yoyo see # 3 and #4 under tie breakers. zokker ties at end of regulation do not count, who won is all that matters. the game tonight determines 1,2 and 3. If Fort wins summerville is 1st, Fort loss and they are 3rd with Beaufort and summerville tied. Big game!
