Well chapin22, thats the first I remember anyone posting on here that opinion. I'm not really a stat guy but I do remember it was Chapin 11-9 shots on goal in the 2nd match but it seemed like BC had many chances in front of the Chapin goal that didn't result in shots, a compliment to their defense. I realize that it's a small few that get on here that talks the junk............it's fun (and easy) to get them riled up. I imagine that a few of our players in the past probably got on here and talked junk too.

i agree with chapin being able to beat MB but how you have only BC and Chapin in the lower state final confuses me

mb is no pushover. we lost a few but when our backs are up against the wall upsets are made.

and trust me, our backs are up against the wall.

expect a solid game and buffalobob makes lousy predictions. i just read that he says greenville is going to lose the streak for upperstate in the state finals.

nice prediction.

i dont believe that MB is a pushover. but from experience on a team that has beaten them twice this season, Chapin seems more likely to win to me.

thats precisely the point. Statistically speaking, Chapin is the better pick but in the back of your mind, you know MB stands a chance.

Props to Chapin though for the win in PK's last time we played them.

and also for the nice dinner they served us. Great sportsmanship by Chapin.

2nd Round

Upperstate

Greenville*
J.L. Mann

-J.L. will put up a respectable effort

Eastside*
A.C. Flora

- Eastside too strong for Flora...

Riverside*
Daniel

- Riverside will overcome Daniel, but looking for a great match here

Travelers Rest
Dreher*

- Dreher sure did make out on the way the bracket was made..

Lowerstate

Bluffton*
Airport

- Although I am pulling for the upset

Chapin*
Myrtle Beach

- Always harder to beat the same team twice...

Socastee
Brookland-Cayce*

- My upset for the 2nd round. BC will be too intense for Socastee

Wilson
North Myrtle Beach*

- Can't see a different outcome in that game...

why does everyone think that BC is too intense for Socastee; by far one of the most underestimated teams
