There are some interesting matchups in the second round of the AAAA playoffs; most of which occur in the lower state. What are some thoughts on the four most interesting games in my opinion:

Wando/DF

Dorman/Lex

Beaufort/RV

Stratford/SV

Ill say DF, Lex, Bft, and a very improved Stratford shocks the world...or, just the state actually.

I'm gonna go with nasty here ...with scores:

dorman/lex winner lex 3-0
beaufort/rv winner beaufort 2-1
stratford/sv winner stratford in a HUGE upset from the knights! 5-4 in pk's

what about the some of the match ups in the upperstate:

Irmo/Hillcrest

Mauldin/South Aiken

Northwestern/T L Hanna

Lexington/Dorman

I say Irmo, South Aiken, Northwestern, and Lexington.

That Wando/Dutch Fork game should be a fierce and exciting game. Dutch Fork has already defeated Wando 2-0 in the Palmetto Cup so I'm sure the Wando boys will have all the motivation they need. Dutch Fork is playing extremely well right now but they will be playing in the most hostile environment they've seen this year. Also can the return of Wando forward Kirby Burkhalter (sp?) help defeat Cates and the senior led Silver Foxes. This game is to close to call for me but it looks to be a great one. My representative for the Lowerstate in the State Championship comes out of this game as well.

Alexander, I think DF is the better team, but Wando seems to always luckout with home advantage.

After DF adjusts to the high crown on Wando's field (Highest elevation in Charleston at midfield) and the Wando crazy crowd, they squeak by 2-1

I agree with you Spartan, I think DF is the better team but you just never know down at Wando.
