DF will not compete. They simply lose too many players. They have 2 starters returning, and 5 returners all together. Look for a rebuilding year to happen, but with such a "great" coach they will probably lose more than they should.

hey dont be so sure..this year was suppossed to be a rebuilding season for irmo and look what happened

Im tired of chasin my dreams Im just goin to ask 'em where theyre goin and hook up with 'em later

Well until DF gets a coach that is half as good as Coach Savitz is, their "rebuilding" year will be nothing like that of Irmo's. No offense to anyone or Coach Quinlan, it's just that Savitz is an amazing coach and one of the only ones who can take a young team in a "rebuilding" year (plus all the off the field problems) and turn them into an Upper-State contender.

I don't know...I'd say that's pretty good offense...

I wonder if he's such a great coach, why he has all these off the field problems after so many years at Irmo?

Yep and they won each time with a comfy lead of 2 goals in each of those three games. Not bad against a team that was supposed to beat everyone...except Socastee. Anyway, it is yet to be determined just how good NMB is gonna be next year...that is a year away anyway so anything is possible.

BamBam, I believe an answer to your question about Irmo's off the field problems could be answered by the fact that these are high school kids. They are going to make bad decisions occasionally. If they don't learn from these mistakes, thats another problem in itself. I know you couldn't be questioning Coach Savitz's coaching ability. Look at the records 502-62-4, 13 State Championships. I also know you couldn't be questioning his character or personality because obviously you had never met the guy. He is truly one of the classiest coaches in the state.
