Complete ignorance in my part.... how is it that a player makes all-state but not all region? For sure Daniel Lynch is one of the top players in Region 4.

I completely agree, futbol. Both Howard and Howell are talented defenders and deserving of all region. However I also believe that Daniel Lynch is better than both of them. The kid is a stud defender and it is an injustice for him not to be all region. You're one of the best 18 players in the state for 4A which gets you All State, but you're not an elite player in your region of six teams?

I said this earlier in the year, Lynch is no good and this shows it. Although i feel that he is maybe deserving of all region. Also, When u say stud, do u mean terrible and not any good?

You're right, he's terrible and not any good. He was only named All State along with All Area by the State Paper. He is also going to attend USC where he will play soccer after next season. But I'm sure he's not the caliber of player you ever were or are now. Or perhaps you're not that talented or never were and are jealous of players such as Daniel Lynch.

I guess the need to tear down better players will never end. All you have to do is look at the all state and all region selections and you will find players that have been destroyed in this boards as being average to horrible.

Alex...when did the State issue their all area team?

Lynch and I happen to be very close friends and he told me that he was notified by Coach Savitz that he was one of three Irmo players selected to the All Area team and that they would be contacted for the newspaper spread in the near future. It hasn't been released yet, but I just know he was one of three Irmo players to be given the award.

??? your a complete moron if you think that daniel lynch isnt one of the best in the state .. this kid could play with anyone in the state defintaly all state material . prob some jealous kid who cant start for his own team
