what does winning state have to do with him earning player of the year? i know your argument will be along the lines of him leading his team to a championship, but the best player is supposed to win the award, regardless of how his team is. Enzo beats out Sebastian as far as that goes.

Granted, I missed that game...but I still figure I'm safe in assuming at least ten other guys had a hand in that championship. Team accomplishments shouldn't be the bottom line when evaluating individual effort.

Enzo is Enzo. The Super 22 is the opinion of scsoccer.com and they have their opinion, and I think it is an informed one but that's what makes lists so much fun..you don't have to agree.

Aside from any debate about Enzo and Sebastian, I am amazed (and pleased) at the number of underclassmen in this group. Given the good showing by the SC Clash senior boys squad, this obviously isn't because we lack talented upperclassmen, but is indicative of how strong these younger boys are. I can't wait for the next two interstate matchups!

Both would have been well deserving of the award but as who me said, Enzo is Enzo. I Wouldn't be suprised if he was one of the top prospects in the nation heading into his freshman year of college.

Congratulations to all the young men on the list. They all were very well deserving and had good seasons. Well done to Enzo for player of the year. He is a phenomenal talent!
