I remember running into a team with navy jerseys and black numbers...can't remember now who it was. Made it next to impossible to call out marks on the field. I really can't imagine any reason to choose those color combinations except for camouflage.
I've got good news and bad news...

When did I say I did not have one? I just tried to help you understand that not every coach gets one. Again stick to the point.
I am sticking to the point. The point is any coach in any sport should take it upon themselves to have the rule book that governs their sport. If they can't get it from their AD, then get it themselves. Any competent coach would do that. I'm through with this!

Kidding??? NO I guess the point of all this is should a coach have to pay for IT? Is it not the AD's job to provide the head coach with a rule book as well as whatever else is needed? Does the Head Football coach have to pay for one? How about the Basketball coach etc??? Do you understand now? IT is not the small amount of money, it is the fact that a lot of AD's do not treat soccer like the other sports. I wonder if Real guy has run into this yet in all his years of coaching? HOw about you GSDAD?

Good Lord!!! Stop being a *****! $6.50!!!!!! Just ask the AD for one. If you don't get one, suck it up and buy one. Your argumewnt is idiotic, full of bad excuses and even worse logic. Oh, for the love of GOD, Heise, please delete this stupid thread before some innocent person gets the wrath!
What's my name?! Chuck Norris doesn't get questions, he gets answers!

Until this year, our jersey's did not have numbers on both sides and our shorts had nothing! Glad to know the ref's did not know this rule or at least were generous! What would you have made us do, sharpie our jersey's?

Officials do not address this problem. They report it to the SCHSL and they deal with it.

So who did not do their job? Me, for not knowing the rule, The referee's for not reporting it, or the SCHSL for not dealing with it? Our AD knew our Jersey's did not have front numbers, every referee between Hilton Head and Columbia saw our Jersey's and so did opposing teams and any high school league people at our games! I know Coach J was kind of poking fun at this, but who did not do their job?
It is really not as clear as one would make it out to be. To be honest, I do not sweat the small stuff. I want to win games, have good grades and represent the school well. This stuff does not factor in!
