Question: If a match was postponed due to weather, and one of the schools cannot make up the match due to conflicts, etc., what courses of action are available to the other school? Can the match be dropped and another added?

Thanks,
Sean

Good question, Sean...and I'm glad to see I'm not the only one up at a completely ridiculous hour during Spring Break, despite the fact that we have a match tomorrow.

If I understand correctly, a non-region match can be dropped (assuming it's one of yours from the deluge of Week 1--I'm still trying to reschedule one myself), but a region match has to be played.

Would we have to send an update to SCHSL assuming I could find another match?

Just a revised schedule with the new team and match, yes...mainly for playoff seeding records in case of a tie within the region. As long as both coaches agree to drop the match it should be no problem.

Would the girls be looking for a match as well, or is it just the boys?

You definitely beat me in the up-late category...respect!

Will,
Two words for you: pollen and kids...
Not sure about the girls, can try and find out for you.

Heh...the bad and good news about spring break...

Bad news is I had to play Wando with only 12 players...

The good news is we don't have to be at school at the crack of dawn after staying up all night.

I guess I'll call it even.
