Can someone explain how Andrew Jackson can be ranked 3rd in 2A for so long behind #1 BE and # 2 Waccamaw, and get a 4 seed? A one loss team is seeded beneath a four loss team (Silver Bluff) that is ranked 7th? I know that BE is the perennial 1 seed in the lower state, and that Waccamaw is legit this year.

Strength of schedule? Flip of the coin?

Maybe someone on the seeding committee can explain this, because this clearly tells me that AJ's coach wasn't there.

Well, im going to try and explain but i AM NOT on the committee or anything, and this is just my assumption. First off, it makes no sense why in the rankings AJ is higher than SB, but in the seeding SB is higher. Reasons i see why they would be higher than AJ, is probably because of strength of schedule. I believe SB's schedule is tougher than AJ's schedule, and region wise, SB's region is way tougher than AJ's. There could be other factors, but as of right now my mind is on a 3 1/2 hour trip for Tuesday against an extremely tough team, so take it as is.

The rankings are not used by the committee during the meeting.

Also, do consider that while tournament games count towards the rankings they are not included on the games submitted for review by the seeding committee.
