Seriously. Northwestern is incredible, and has proven it. We wouldn't even be discussing this if the ref's call on their goalie in PK's (off the line ) hadn't cost them the SV match.

Lexington: Great press. Good team.

Northwestern is better, and the Enzo factor. You know he's coming. Do something about it, Lex. Easier said than done.

Home field advantage: Hardest place in the state to play. Long trip from Columbia (look through the playoffs and see the advantage of Columbia teams that have teams come to them, and see the huge disadvantage when Columbia teams have to travel, especially long distances). This factor is a BIG indicator in high school playoffs and has been for many years in all sports.

Only one opinion, but I think NW might go into another gear as they smell the State Championship.

Trojans by a bunch.

I expect nothing less than what happened to Lexington last year in the second round...

I do believe Northwestern won 4-0, could I get some clarification.

Nevermind I KNOW it was 4-0.

According to the Records page here on scsoccer.com:

Kyle Izzard of Andrew Jackson holds the record with 141 goals from 89-93.

Should be a great game between NHS and LHS tonight.

Northwestern- 3
Lexington- 0

Jeremy Dobbins, Ricardo Garbanzo, and Enzo Martinez scored.

Enzo with 2 assists. He scored from a free kick 18 yards out.

Overall good game. Northwestern dominated from start to finish but Lexington outplayed them for a stretch in the second half.

Northwestern scored 6 minutes into the game and never looked back after that.

I will say that Tanner Osbourne is an excellent goalkeeper. He did not play his best game today but was still top notch. He is a very classy young man and I wish him and the whole Lexington squad the best of luck next year.
