Pretty intense matchups from here on out. Who do ya'll have and why? I am interested in hearing responses as I have been out of the state this year. Thanks!

I personally will give the upstate to Emerald (just from what I have seen in the past), and I think this year the lowerstate is a complete toss-up.

Emerald / Walhalla: 2-1

Waccamaw has been building a long time, and they certainly can hang with BE. I wish they had played a regular season game.

Waccamaw / BE: Who knows? I like WHS 1-0

I want to say Waccamaw finally edges out BE this year, as this will be the third year in a row the y face off for lower state, but Be seems to be on a roll. By the scores, looks like Waccamaw has had a "tougher" road to get here than BE. I'm rooting for Waccamaw, bu i will say BE 3-1. AS for upper state, Walhalla 1-0

it was stated in the paper today that Blomdahl is not playing for Waccamaw due to a concussion. This could hurt WHS chances as their biggest offensive threat is out. You never know though, as the WHS girls team was undefeated and beat BE 2x this year and lost last night with less than 2 mins. to play. Good luck to both teams..

Congrats to Emerald and BE on their close wins.......i figured Blomdahl's absence would hurt the Warriors and completely underestimated their defense. Best of luck to these squads and look forward to a classic match at the championships.....As for my prediction...........I will hold off as i've been off so far......

I wouldn't call anything about BE winning another trophy "a classic match up".
