What do other coaches due when it is raining or fields are bedraggled, there are no practice gyms available, and you still want to train?

well, there are two great things to do when the fields are muddy and it is raining out that the players seem to enjoy... diving header practice is always fun, and slide tackle timing practice... goalies can always practice punting. just make sure some towells are available and it is not too cold out or lightening. You can always go running too.

Luckily, we are able to get in the gym on rainy days. With the hard gym floor, players are forced to work on their touches. We also work on possessing the ball. Playing small sided indoor games are a nice change to playing outside as well.
