Great fast paced game played by both teams. Spartanburg scored with about eleven minutes left and Mauldin scored about four minutes later. Not much separates the top four in Region II.

About 5 minutes into the game Eastside player, Catie Moore, took a shot that was deflected by the keeper. Caroline Moore collected the rebound and finished for the lone goal. In second half Riverside dominated shots, but Eastside did a good job pressuring shots to low percentage angles and distances. Exiting game.
Unfortunately, Lindsay Patterson for Riverside and Cara Woolford for Eastside left the game in the second due to injuries. I don't know Lindsay's condition, I hope she is alright. I believe Cara is getting a cast on her wrist.
