Also, it's a shame that some of these schools cannot report scores.

SO IF PLAYOFFS WERE HELD TODAY..FIRST ROUND LOWER STATE SHOULD LOOK LIKE THIS:

DUTCH FORK v BEAUFORT
FORT DORCHESTER v RIDGEVIEW
JAMES ISLAND v S. FLORENCE
SPRING VALLEY v WEST ASHLEY
SUMMERVILLE v RNE
SUMTER v BERKELEY
WANDO v CONWAY
WEST FLORENCE v STRATFORD

FIRST ROUND UPPER STATE SHOULD LOOK LIKE THIS:

DORMAN v CLOVER
FORT MILL v BYRNES
HANNA v SOUTH AIKEN
LEXINGTON v Region 1 # 4 H
MAULDIN v NATION FORD
N. AUGUSTA v GREENWOOD
NORTHWESTERN v SPARTANBURG
WREN v IRMO

1. Wando 8-0-0
2. James Island 3-1-0
3. Berkeley 3-5-0
4. Stratford 2-3-0
5. Goose Creek 0-3-0
6. Orangeburg-Wilkinson 0-4-0

Giving me a little too much credit, I fear, due to scores not reported...Stratford is actually 4-4-0 as of now while Berkeley is 4-5-0 with a serious not-playing-like-ourselves loss to Stratford on our record. Gotta try to get them back in the rematch next Tuesday!

1. Dorman 11-0-0
2. Mauldin 9-3-0
3. Spartanburg 6-4-0
4. Byrnes 6-4-0
5. Boiling Springs 2-7-0
6. Gaffney 1-7-0
7. Hillcrest 0-10-0

updated to include Mauldin's win over Sparkle City. If Mauldin beats Byrnes at home, then the above seeding is correct. If Byrnes beats Mauldin then there will be a three-way mess.

Dutch Fork 5-0
Spring Valley 2-3
Ridge View 1-3
Richland Northeast 0-2

This is probably the final order for R5 since SV holds a 1 goal aggregate lead on RV.

Lexington 8-0
North Augusta 4-3
Irmo 4-3
South Aiken 4-4
Aiken 3-5
White Knoll 0-8

This one is a mess. Here are the remaining games:

Irmo: Lexington last night (haven't seen a score) and N. Augusta TWICE
NA: Aiken and Irmo TWICE
SA: White Knoll and arch rivals

SA should win out and get to sit back while Irmo and NA duke it out.

4. Clover 6-3-0
5. Lancaster 1-8-0
6. York 0-5-0
7. Rock Hill 0-7-0
8. South Pointe 0-7-0

Updated to include last night's matches. BIG match tonight between Clover and Northwestern. This will be a winner take all match to determine which team gets the 2 seed and the right to play Byrnes, Spartanburg, or Mauldin. The loser will have to play Mauldin, Spartanburg, or Byrnes.

Thanks for the jinx. Let me do you now. TLH should have an easy ticket to the upstate finals at least. They've been playing well lately and shouldn't stumble in any way, shape, or form

Updated. Aiken vs NA tonight makes a big amount of change. Aiken loses and they'll need to beat SA as well as NA sweeping Irmo to have a shot at tie breakers. Aiken wins and it'll go like this provided SA defeats WK:

Lex 9-0
SA 5-4
Irmo/NA 4-4
Aiken 4-5

If Aiken beats SA and NA/Irmo split, then we've got 4 teams tied at 5-5 with the above situation. Joy. I had a dream that Hank said "We're just going to win them all and make it look easy."

I'll take your jinx and raise you one:

I think SA has the makeup and mentality to upset Dorman in the second round and advance AT LEAST 3 rounds.
