What senior has pulled away from the pack to establish herself as the top HS female player in the state?

Miss Sarah Jacobs will be now knows as Miss May. Get ready people. (and I coach against her...talk about respect)

No offense Kira. I have heard great things about you but the best thing is we don't play you.

That young lady is fabulous. I have seen her twice and she put quite a show on both times. Very, very good.

Haven't seen Wando yet so I can't comment on any of their players. I have seen all of the ones mentioned so far and Kira is the best all around. There are faster ones (Austin), there are great finishers (Caitlin), there are tenatious ones (Sarah), and there are smart ones (Hannah). But Kira is the most complete player...besides the seniors that play for me, of course. I am unable to be objective about my seniors. I always think they are the best.

...and there is plenty of reasons to think so

Dale Jr, I have to disagree the most complete player. Hannah would get my vote. Kira,Catlin,Hannah,Sarah, were all on the same Cesa team with my daughter. Hannah lead the team in scoring last year and when the coach needed defense Hannah was the one he put back there with Alex, who by the way is the best defensive player that I have seen. All these girls are exceptional players and will do great @ the next level. But after watching these girls for the past 4 years. Hannah gets my vote.

The wonderful thing about this conversation is that, if you were the coach, and you got to pick first on who was on your team, you would faint if you got Kira, Sarah, Caitlin, Hannah, or any of several girl's players in this state.

Trying to find boys teams in SC in the last 70's, with NO girls teams, and coming back to soccer 30 years later..

These girls can play!

I agree and lets not forget Kindle Maxwell from Hanna,
I think we all forget about the Goal keeper @ times, and she in my mind is one of the best. I think she deserves a vote for best player of the year

How do you come up with your vote for "the best". Tried to look up leading scoreres and that was not available on the public part of the site. However the goals scored data is available. But the person you say is "best" has had 19 goals scored in not an extremely challenging region. The player is probably very good but, there are others in the state in single digits. Seems that this is a "family" board and you only talk continuously about who you know. As someone said before, bias comes to mind, and it is certainly not good for the players when you don't talk about the facts.

Stop being cheap and subscribe to the site. What would you like for everyone to do, talk about players we don't know? Chat up players that are not in our "family" that we have no earthly idea what they can do? Let me start:

Hey have you seen that girl from Byrnes that I don't know about? She hasn't scored enough goals to make it on the subscriber's only individual stats, I've never seen her play, Byrnes supporters like Futbol08 never man up and talk about her, but she's pretty good. Not sure of her number or name.

Yeah. That's what we'll do.

Futbol08:
It's all subjective, that's the beauty of this board, anyone can have an opinion. It makes perfect sence to talk about players from your team or players you know from club ball. Like I said in an earlier post, College coaches will have the final say on who is the top senior talent.

Ashleigh Sheets - Fort Mill

She can play in the center of the defense, the center of the midfield or straight up top. She can literally put a team on her back and carry them through.

Ashleigh Sheets is very nice and unselfish. This really is a great senior class. I can't wait to see how these girls do at the next level.

Kira, I'd have to say, is the most complete player. She doesn't run her mouth, her motor doesn't stop, and she can play anywhere. Caitlin is the best finisher, excels in fundamentals, and is the fiercest competitor. Hannah I would say is the most athletic and can make the most elecric moments. I think Caitlin could have gone ACC. The other two (SEC and CofC)

Don't feel sorry for Caitlin, I think she will do what she does best at USCU
