I have seen only one game so far. But just looking at the stats Coach Fredrick is doing exactly what she does best. Chapin is making it very hard to score and playing great defense. Look at the scored against since her taking over.

I will have to pick Chapin to win at least the low state and probably the state title. Chapin was loaded this year. Roosier was the only thing in the way and that went away, so now the talent has room to grow under Coach Fredrick's direction.

Chapin is probably the hottest team in AAA at the moment. I want to see this Hilton Head pan out. I think Hurst can take his posting to a whole nother level if they come through.

Team on a mission - Airport

Hottest team - Chapin

Darkhorse - Eastside

Champion will be - Riverside

Just my $.02

In AAA those coastal teams are hard to judge because of the lack of known concentrated competition as Chapin found out last year. So it would not surprise me to see HH come up and take out some perceived better teams.

I predict Coach Fred will take Chapin all the way! I don't think they are the hottest... I think they are now seasoned and experienced under their first year coach.

Hilton Head will be tough and should be the favorites for lower state--they return all 11 starters from the team that made it to the state championship game last year.

Hilton Head can be tough, but they are returning 9 of 11 from last year and have one starter who, while starting to play, has been sidelined the entire season recovering from ACL surgery. Their starting 11, when healthy, can play with anyone, but they are not deep. They have a good coach, but tend to play to the level of their competition. Should be interesting.

I've been behind Hilton Head since February, I certainly think they can go to the state championship.

The only thing that concerns me is their ability to close out a game. Do they have what it takes to step on the opposing team's throat and finish the job?

Perhaps the addition of the previously injured "sophomore sister" will be enough to get them over the top.

Hurst - I think that you are dead on target with the analysis.
