He started off by throwing beads to little children and then watches and pearls to the adults. The game was halted for 19 minutes as they had to clear the field from the chaos. Afterwards SA and Greenwood played a physical preview in what should be a fun opening round game for both.

Lexington started their entire second string (there was actually a newspaper article in "The State" where the coach talked about resting some players.) One younger player who hasn't gotten a lot of minutes this year lost her head in the first half and got a deserved red card and is out for two games. In the 70th-something minute, the Lexington coach sent a player in with instructions to score quickly and get out -- about 90 seconds later the score was 1-0 and she came out.
